| 内容記述 | 本研究は、看護系大学・短期大学に勤務する助手の職務内容の実態や、職務に対して感じているジレンマの有無、教育職継続の意思やその関連要因について明らかにすることを目的として、助手に対する質問紙調査を実施し、対象者100名中54名から回答が得られた。その結果、筆者らが想定していた助手の職務内容と現実の職務内容について、上位5項目のうち「臨地実習指導」「講義準備と補助」「演習準備と補助」「上司の研究補助」については有意差は無かったが、「自身の研究」および下位項目の「試験監督・採点」「社会活動」「学校行事」等に関しては有意差が認められ、助手が抱いている職務内容と現実との認識の乖離がうかがえた。現在の職務に対するジレンマについては、質問紙のすべての項目について何らかのジレンマを感じていたが、中でも「臨地実習指導」に関するものが最多であった。教育職継続の意思に関連する要因に関しては、「臨地実習指導に対するジレンマの有無」との関連がみられた。助手は現在行っている多くの職務内容に対してジレンマを感じつつ、職務に対して葛藤、逡巡しながらも教育職を継続したいと考えている者が多く、それぞれが感じているジレンマを対処、解決していくことができるような教育、支援体制の充実の必要性が示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | "The present study was aimed to clarify the actual working status of assistants at nursing universities and colleges, any dilemmas they had regarding their jobs, their intention to continue education, and its associated factors. A questionnaire was sent to 100 assistants, of whom 54 responded. Regarding the working status of these assistants, there was no significant difference between the status assumed by the authors and the actual status for 4 of the 5 superordinate items : ""on-site training instructor, "" ""preparation for and assistance with lectures, "" ""preparation for and assistance with seminars, "" and ""assistance with the professor's study."" For the remaining superordinate item ""research of their own"" and the subordinate items including ""test supervisor/grader, "" ""social activities, "" and ""school events, "" however, there were significant differences, which suggest a disparity in the working status between their expectations and the reality. As for dilemmas regarding current jobs, they felt certain dilemmas concerning all items in the questionnaire, especially pertaining to ""on-site training instructor."" As for factors associated with their intention to continue education, an association with the ""presence of a dilemma about on-site training instructor"" was identified. Experiencing dilemmas about various aspects of their current jobs, and even struggling with and hesitating about their work, many assistants are willing to continue education. this finding suggests the necessity of upgrading education/support systems for them to address and overcome their individual dilemmas." | |||||
